The amazing thing about B-movies is that whatever happens you really can't complain about what your watching, because you decided to watch a potentially bad movie, i mean it could be, depends on what it is.  The main thing is that your movie should be enjoyable to you, if not, blame yourself.  B-movies are full of gore, i mean an extreme amounts and the story no matter how bad or good, the film will have a large amount of gore. The second and probably the most important is the corny story that only makes sense if you were living in a fairy tale. Remember the essence of a B-movie is the content, outrageous story, and gore, extreme amounts, because if it doesn't have those elements, then your probably not watching a B-movie. Here are examples of good b-movies, starting with bad outrageous titles, here we go. I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle (1990), Iron Sky (2012), Death Bed: The Bed That Eats (1977), Sharknado (2013), Ninja Terminator (1985), The Blob (1958 and 1988), Piranha (1978), Hobgoblins (1988), The Gingerdead Man (2005), and Troll 2 (1990).

Somewhere in the Virginia Appalachian mountains, an SUV filled with college kids, Allison (Katrina Bowden), Chad (Jesse Moss), Jason (Brandon Jay McLaren), Naomi (Christie Laing), Chole (Chelan Simmons), Chuck (Travis Nelson), Todd (Alex Arsenault), Mitch (Adam Beauchesne), and Mike Joseph Allan Sutherland. The crew is on a road trip, they're heading to the woods to party, everything that young people get into and more.  Along the way, the SUV tries to cut off a truck that has our heroes Tucker (Alan Tudyk), and Dale (Tyler Labine), but before they get a chance to pass, our hillbilly heroes speed up and cut off the outsiders, while giving them an evil stare; The stare was extreme because the college kids were all scared, maybe it was a way of saying hello, welcome to my town. They stop at the same gas station, various stares and reactions were given, the group saw the two guys from the truck pull up. They seemed to be in some conversation, because every so often they would turn and look. Here the scene sets the story up good, you have your college kids, the two main characters, Tucker and Dale, the connections here are established well. The scene is funny, especially the way Dale tries to approach the girl, comes off like someone from a horror flick, good stuff.

Tucker and Dale are best of friends, they're day is simple, fishing and drinking beer. Tucker has acquired a cabin out in the woods. The funny thing about this scene is the way the guys think it's a perfect place, needs a ton of work, but when the camera focuses inside, you see news paper clips of the Memorial day massacre, but the guys think the unusual and strange looking cabin is normal, they instead pass up the bones that are human bones that are hanging, things that would draw attention. instead they think an archaeologist was the cause of the neat, yet disturbing decorations. The scene is done well because the guys are ignorant to the surroundings, the news paper clippings, bones, the way the cabin is set up, almost like a hideout away from civilization. The great thing about this scene is the way both characters look at each other when inspecting the cabin, almost as if they know what there doing, but deep down is pure stupidity. The fact that these guys went into a hole, a "Fixer Upper," it really needed more than that, maybe a demolition, but still the guys think that their cabin, or at least the vacation spot, here is the prime place to be.

The scene with Chad (Jesse Moss) telling the story of the hillbilly massacre was epic in every way because it sets up the antagonist, this dude is crazy, his motives are pretty intense, but i like the way he evolved into the bad guy. His hate goes pretty deep, in fact this guy got it all made, he wants death to all Hillbillies. Well he goes on and scares everyone which sets the stage for the gore, and i mean there is a lot of it. The main reason behind it is pure stupidity, but it comes out to a pretty nifty screenplay.  After Chad's dramatic story, everyone decides to go skinny dipping, to calm the nerves i guess. Meanwhile Tucker and Dale are fishing, running low on beer, they notice Allison standing on a rock formation, she is admiring her body, and so are the guys, watching from the boat. She notices the guys watching her, which scares her, she falls into the water, bumping her head.  Dale saves her life by taking her out of the water. The guys take her back to their cabin. Remember Chad set the stage with the story, now Allison is missing, and who gets the blame, Tucker and Dale, but not yet, they try to resolve everything by trying to tell the college kids what happened. The situation goes from bad to worse, because the college misinterprets everything that Tucker and Dale try to convey. The whole movie is miscommunication of some kind, it really is done well, makes me cringe a bit, but that's whats so special about this kind of film, it establishes a wacky story, making way for the elements that make up the film, which is gore, comedy, unbalanced circumstances that make up the key pieces of the puzzle that is a well done B-movie.

So the college students see the Tucker and Dale lifting an unconscious Allison on to the boat, which they took the CPR as something else, i guess they thought the guys were killing her.  Chuck volunteers to get help, using his father's truck. Jason spots the cabin which is nearby, the group is scared to death, but choose Mitchell after a game of rock paper scissors. Death number one: Mitch approaches the cabin while Tucker is messing with the chainsaw out back; He catches a glimpse of Tucker swinging a chainsaw, not knowing he had disturbed a bee hive: The chainsaw and screaming scares Mitch, and runs adjacent from Tucker, the two realize that he is running from bees as a tree branch impales Mitch. Death number two: Todd charges at Dale, holding what looks to be a spear. The spear gets caught into the outhouse hole, by Todd flinging it at Dale, but instead gets stuck inside the hole. Todd trips and falls into it. Death number three: Tucker is throwing wood into a wood chipper, Mike makes his move behind Tucker, holding a knife. He launches himself at him, Tucker bends over to pick something up, and Mike launches himself at Tucker, but is thrown into the wood chipper after Tucker gets up.  Death number four: Chuck comes back with a police officer which investigates the cabin, finds Allison unconscious, checks her, the guys warn him about the very weak beam, it was all to late as the beam full of nails impales his face. The police officer runs out, screaming, blood spews everywhere. Death number five: Chuck grabs the gun from the police officer, he notices that the gun isn't working, Dale suggests that the safety might be on, he checks it out, the guns barrel is pointing at his face, it goes off, he falls to his death. Death number six: Jason charges with a weed whacker, misses his target but hits Naomi in the face. Death number seven: Chad throws a lit lamp, which hits Jason's leg and sets him on fire, he tries to survive, but it really doesn't work well. And the funny death is number eight: Chloe decides to light a cigarette, and the whole place blows up, killing everyone but our heroes and Allison. Dale realizes that having gasoline and other flammables inside the cabin was a bad idea, to late the cabin blew up.

The movies finale is pretty good, the antagonist Chad wakes up, badly burned captures the girl, Allison, a very hurt Tucker, and the only one to save the day is Dale. He grabs a chainsaw and readies himself for an epic battle between good and evil. The scene here was excellent, it managed to capture a struggle between two very different people in a fight for their lives. The battle ensues and Chad finds out he is half-hillbilly, enrages him. The winner here was Dale's memory served him well, the Chamomile Tea which Chad happens to be allergic to, made our hero think fast and take out the bad guy. before he jumped out the window, and fell to his death, which would bring our B-movie kill count to a chilling number nine. Lets's not forget Tucker at the hospital, losing two fingers and getting them back through surgery is not his thing, especially when the fingers look very different from what he remembers. Either way the movie ends with the good guy getting the girl, our heroes Tucker and Dale save the day.
