"What was lost in the fire, we found in the ashes."  -Sam Chisolm-
The people of the town called Rose Creek meet inside the town church, they're discussing about the arrangements they have with the Bouge, or  Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Saragaard). The man that has taken everything from them; They bicker for a bit, until Bogue himself arrives with his men. He walks in, slowly, looking at everyone, even the Preacher (Mark Ashworth). The town hasn't been as profitable as it used to be, and Bogue made it clear to the towns-folk, that land, profit is important. Afterwards he makes his way to the exit of the church, and as he moves with his men, one man from the back of the church speaks out against Bogue, his name is Matthew Cullen (Matt Bomer).
The response Cullen gets was not the one he had expected, because proving himself greater than most can prove deadly sometimes, in the case of Matthew Cullen he was shot in the chest.
Bogue then ordered his men to burn down the church and kill anyone that gets out of line. The bodies are to stay just to make a point, and this point will forever resonate throughout Rose Creek. Bogue had told the good townsfolk that he will come back in three weeks, and profits better be up, or suffer the consequences.

"And they'll be murdered by the world's greatest lover" -Josh Faraday

Review:  The first thing i would like to point out is James Horner's musical score, it was an amazing piece of work. The music started, stopped at important moments in the film, as if he were acting himself. Horner was so inspired after reading the script that he composed the whole piece during pre-production.
James Horner was 61 on June 22, 2015. This was his final score before he passed on; A truly amazing, talented man. The music was memorable, it took you inside the film, like you're there, a moment in time.

The film also had something that i will always say it's what makes or breaks a movie. Communication between all the characters is the key, period. How convincing would've it been if Emma Cullen (Haley Bennett) approached Chisolm (Washington) in a B-movie like way, i mean that connection would be pretty bad if she came out showing her chest, flaunting, with no real sway. The film would've made no sense. The focus was different;  An actor must show some emotion, realism, in order to get that point down. Haley nailed it, she to me was the best supporting actor in this film. Another point would be the villain, Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard) was brilliant in the way he played his part, dove right in, he established that he is the bad guy. Even his second in command was afraid of him. The pure acting, enjoyment made this film soar.

I really don't have to say anything negative about this film, except the pacing of the movie. not being picky, but i thought it was longer in some scenes, way to long, and other scenes were short. Not that much of a problem, it can be an issue if not checked. As far as negative parts, no worries, like i said not much, very little. If there is a real issue in the film, trust me i will expose it, reveal it. The fact that the director went out of the way, worked hard to deliver a good wild west film, is truly amazing. The work put in this movie did it for me. The characters delivered their lines to perfection, especially Chris Pratt playing Josh Faraday. Pratt did a wonderful job, he really worked to give off the wild west vibe.

"If God didn't want them to be slaughtered, he wouldn't have made them sheep." -Bartholomew Bogue-

In end here i would like to mention some key pieces that made this film memorable. The number one piece, is not hard to point out, it's the way everyone worked together. The team effort was important, because if not it would end up like another shoot'em movie. You know those kinds of films, they just keep you're mind in the gun fights and kills, the rest of the film will suffer for it, but as far, for the Magnificent Seven it did something special, it brought the audience back to that time, and to me they did their job. Films like these should be recognized for what they have achieved. If an audience loves it, then recognize it, if an audiences hates it, then again recognize it. So many critics bring out the bad so much in films that it sways folks away, or bring them in aggressively. An example of this would be Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad. Both movies critics had said the bad word, and guess what happened, audiences went to see the film. These two films did more than moderate at the box office; Batman became number 4 top movie dog of the 2016 summer movies, and Suicide Squad really did well, better than expected. And as for Magnificent Seven, this film did well, because the production team worked hard to make the film become a true classic in the making.
