Our heroes from the last Sharknado film are headed to New York for a book signing, Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) and April Wexler (Tara Reid).  Her book, "How to Survive a Sharknado," the couple is still on the rocks, the events in L.A. has been a traumatic experience, Fin (Ian Ziering) is still a bit shaken, and is starting to see sharks nipping at the plane's wing.  The sharknado attacks the plane, devastation, people panic, a series of screams, everything that can go wrong, goes wrong and heroes manage to take out the sharks, a plane that is going down do to cabin pressure, a hole so big that is sucks passengers out, but some how Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) manages to land the plane safely.

New York Times Square, Fin's Older sibling, Ellen (Kari Wuhrer) and her family are sightseeing in the city.  Meanwhile a storm is coming, and the family must get to safety, before the tornado like winds hit the city.
Her husband, Martin Brody (Mark McGrath), and son Vaughn (Dante Palminteri) are going to Citi Field for a Mets game.  Ellen (Kari Wuhrer) and Mora (Courtney Baxter) are heading to the Statue of Liberty so that they could meet up with there friends, Polly (Sandra Denton), and Chrissie (Tiffany Shepis).

The storm comes in the form of EF2 tornadoes, making it's way to New York city, the shark filled tornadoes cause havoc, destruction, as it touches buildings, people, everything in it's way.  The sharks land on cars, breaking glass, falling on citizens, making them bleed, biting, chewing, all craziness ensues the city.

Bad Weather, random guns in people cars, a hole bigger than the diameter of a house, made by a sharknado, an inexperience pilot manages to land the plane without killing everyone.  Yes our hero is back, the 90210 star is back for yet another horrible, mind suck of a film, Sharknado 2 the second one. Only this time the cast is much larger than before, from Billy Ray Cyrus to Al Roker.

The Mets game was almost laughable, not because it was funny, but because the crowd followed the 90210 hero out of the Citi Field. Why? would you follow a random guy to safety, everyone in the crowd seemed dazed, confused, yet they all followed the hero.  The sharks were killing everyone, yet it would've been believable if the crowd went in different directions.

The acting was so bad, i couldn't understand the thinking the characters conveyed, you know the right path to take but yet there was an iron ball about 12 feet in height rolling towards you, and the only thing in mind, is that nifty hair dryer that could stop the huge ball, about to run into you.  That was the sharknado line of thinking, i could understand one or two people, but all of the characters in the film continued to make stupid decisions.

Last thought on this film, it really is a mess, from plot to stunts, everything.  The special effects were better than the first film, but really who cares, the film mad it made no sense. The direction of the film was so bad, even the great actors like Judd Hirsh had problems with their lines, it really was sad, because if the writer had a real cause for the sharks, or maybe a plot, the film maybe would've been a decent underground film.

The connection wasn't there, because if it was the viewer would've cared about the characters in the film, the main heroes went to New York for a book signing but what happened to them before the flight.  The L.A. incident was pretty big, but everyone in the city had no idea about the sharks, except our 90210 hero.  The editing was so bad that some scenes had the sun shining in some parts of the city and in other parts rain, but not strong enough for tornado like winds.

Create strong winds in all the scenes, not just in some parts, if the tornado was the antagonist, than at least make it look like it is.  The problem with the movie was not just the plot but the folks who edit, it would of been nice to see things flying around, but i guess it was a "B" movie. In end see the film, but realize that it is really bad, watch it with an open mind, a really big open mind.

P.S. My family watched the film with me, it wasn't a good experience, because of the comments and facial expressions.  Lets just say they complained throughout the entire film, i should've recorded a small video, because the laughter inside of me was pretty big.
