Heaven is for Real

Heaven is for Real:
Directed by Randall Wallace, written by Randall Wallace.  Based on the book written by Todd Burpo "Heaven is for Real"
Starring: Greg Kinnear (Todd Burpo), Kelly Reilly (Sonja Burpo), Thomas Haden Church (Jay Wilkins), Connor Corum (Colton Burpo), First feature film.  Lana Styles (Cassie Burpo), and Margo Martindale (Nancy Rawling).
Todd is a Pastor, volunteer Firefighter and a High School Wrestling coach.  Struggling financially and suffering with a broken leg, this Pastor has many issues which can make or break you.
Colton (Connor Corum) appendix ruptures and is taken to the hospital; Todd is told his son may not make the surgery. Through the grace of God this young boy survives.
Afterwards, Colton describes Heaven and the people he had met.  His Father has a hard time believing him but slowly does as Colton describes who he sees.
"Heaven is beautiful, everyone is young"
The main problem is the community which had a hard time believing Todd and  Colton.  Faith, Love are the tools he needs to not prove there is a Heaven but establish the fundamentals of Love.
Without going into any spoilers, I have to say this Film was a true pleasure; it points out many different things that we as people fail to see, or remember.  The actor Connor Corum does a great job for his first time in a feature film ; you can see the love , and relationship between both actors as they play there perspective parts.  Trying to take care of his family and balance his issues, and still loving his son and finding the strength to tell his story to people who need a bit of Faith back in there lives .  Take what you get out of this film because it hits us emotionaly on all levels. Heaven , Jesus , a description of beautiful situations that really happened to this young boy .  What is Heaven? Were is it and what does it look like.   Does it matter, not really, because Heaven can be anything you want it to be.  Yet, this young boy tells us what he saw and people around him think it's false.  He described a wonderful place were everyone gets along and is together for eternity.  What is wrong with that picture, nothing.  Heaven is real, only to those who want it to be .  Through the eyes of a boy; why ? Would this boy lie, he has no reason too.
Inspiring, beautiful, emotion on every level , this film is good and should be bought when it hits DVD.
