Man of Steel

Man of Steel Directed by Zack Snyder, written by David S Goyer and Christopher Nolan.  Based on Superman created by Jerry Seigel and Joe Shuster.
Starring Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Kal-El), Amu Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Russell Crowe (Jor-El), Anti Traue (Faora-ui), Michael Shannon (General Zod), Harry Lennix (General S Wanwick), Richard Schiff (Dr. Hamilton), Christopher Meloni (Colonel Nathen Hardy), Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent ), Ayelet Zurer (Lara Lor-Van), and Laurence Fishburn as Perry White.
The Film starts off on the beautiful world of Krypton.  General Zod (Michael Shannon) has formed a cue; his men take action and storm the council, his conflict lies with the political system.  Jor-El (Russell Crowe) took matters into his own hands, after trying to convince the Council about the planet, and the cause of the harvesting will have devastating effects to its habitants.
The Genisis chamber, where Krypton's codex is held.  Jor-El ( Russell Crowe) takes the codex and fuses it to Kal-El (Henry Cavill), Krypton's fist natural child birth.
A ship sent to Earth do to the extreme circumstances and the state of the planet, Kal-EL ( Henry Cavill) new home in a town called Smallville; where his human parents found him as a baby in that ship that came from the sky.  Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner ), and Martha Kent (Diane Lane ). The human parents that found a special baby that would change the outcome of the human race.
The Film from start to finish really does a wonderful job in explaining the Superman mythos. Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent ) has to tell his son about what he represents, and one day the world will know they are not alone. The emotion and acting between these actors are wonderful.
General Zod (Michael Shannon) in comparison to the 1980 film Superman 2, Terrance Stamp (General Zod ) version are both powerful, these two actors are very good, and hate to make comparisons but if you had seen the older film's Zod, it's hard to really compare the two because these guys are top notch.
From Amy Adams to Laurence Fishburne, top notch cast, brilliant story that makes this film a classic. Goyer, and Nolan write a beautiful movie that tells the story of Superman.
Some will disagree with me , and that's fine, but all in all this film does a fine mix between action and storytelling. Powerful, beautiful to the core; finally a hero movie worth seeing.
