The Wolverine (2013)

The Wolverine (2013), directed by James Mangold and written by Mark Bomback.
Starring Hugh Jackman (Logan), Tao Okamoto  (Mariko), Rila Fukushima (Yukio), Hiroyukio Sanada (Shingen), Svetlana Khodchenkova (Viper ), Brian Tee (Noburo), Hal Yamamouchi (Yashida), Will Yun Lee ( Harada), and Famke Janssen (Jean Grey).
Living in caves, and struggling to become someone, Logan (Hugh Jackman) is having nightmares about Jean Grey (Famke Janssen), there are so severe that he wakes slashing, claws extended out.
Yukio (Rila Fukushima) seeks Logan, the Wolverine.  Her master, Yashida (Hal Yamanouchi) wanted to talk to Logan (Jackman) personally, he is dying.
The story of a young man as a soldier, grew up to a wealthy powerful man in Japan.  Yashida (Yamanouchi), seeks Logan to help him die , take his healing ablitiy, help Logan become normal.
A double cross, a selfish father who cares about himself.  Shingen (Hiroyuki Sanada) father to Mariko (Tao Okamoto). And husband to Markio, Noburo (Brian Tee) who plans to have Mariko killed by the Yakuza, the Japanese Mob.
The film is good overall; the acting is done well.  Logan character is complex enough and I enjoyed this stand alone film.  The actions scenes are good, and have to mention the ninja , black Hand clan, very good, as the story rolls these antagonist slowly come out with the story, not against it.
The only thing I really didn't like was the Silver Samurai, and Viper. I know,I said one, but the use of Viper and the giant Samurai makes this ending of the film a disappointment.  Erase the Silver Samurai and that Viper character and this film would complete.
